• The upcoming mock exam is scheduled to hold on on Monday, February 26, 2018, while the definite UTME will hold between March 9 and 17. The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB has announced that only 245,753 out of over one million candidates that registered for 2018 UTME will sit for the upcoming mock exams. Meanwhile, the Board's spokesperson, Dr Fabian Benjamin in a statement released on Sunday, February 18 said that the mock examination would commence as planned, despite the ongoing strike by members of the Non-Academic Staff Union of universities. He said, “The board has concluded arrangements for the conduct of the mock UTME, slated for Monday, February 26. The Youth Wing of the Redeemed Christian Church of God will organise a 76-hour praise to God in 16 countries to celebrate the 76th birthday anniversary of the church’s General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye. Mr Precious Akingbade, the RCCG National Young Adults and Youth Pastor, announced this at a news conference in Lagos. He said that the Marathon Messiah Praise would take place in Nigeria at the Youth Center, Redemption Camp, Km 46, Lagos/Ibadan Expressway. The 76-hour Marathon Messiah Praise, entitled “The Great Redeemer”, will hold from Feb. 26 to March 1 in 16 countries with 150 worship ministers and coral groups. “ We are dedicating 76 out of 8,760 hours of the year to praise God for the life of Daddy Adeboye . “It aims at ushering a new pattern of worship that will redefine the perspective of men to worship and praise in this dispensation. “Countries that will be participating this year are Nigeria, U.S, Canada, England, Australia, Spain, Scotland, United Arab Emirates

A lady has been publicly humiliated by her Friend over a borrowed Underwear, the trending video is showing a young lady angrily pulling the clothes of her friend which she borrowed her. We never can tell what really happened, however, we suppose that there was an agreement between them which was breached by the lady who was exposed unclad. It could also be that she never really took permission from her friend or neighbour before she took the underwear or perhaps she took it hoping to return it before her friend returned back. The video shows the woman who was exposed being humiliated by her friend. This is a warning not to take what does not belong to one or never to breach and agreement. However, we also believe that two wrongs do not make a right – so her supposed friend was not right in exposing the indecency of her friend for any reason. The issue could have been settled amicably.

Eniola Akinkuotu and Olaleye Aluko The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board said on Sunday that it had suspended its employee , Philomina Chieshe, on account of N 36m which was reported to have been swallowed by a snake in the board ’ s office in Makurdi , Benue State . The JAMB Head of Information , Fabian Benjamin, told our correspondent on Sunday that the board was taking her through other disciplinary measures while security agencies were investigating the matter . Benjamin said , “ She has been suspended and she is going through all other disciplinary procedures while investigation is ongoing on the matter . Her claim was that a snake came into the office and swallowed the N 36m proceeds. ” It was learnt that Chieshe explained in her statement that a “ mystery snake” sneaked into JAMB accounts office and made away with the N 36m cash . An orphan , Basirat, has been taken into protective custody by the Lagos State Government after she was allegedly abused by people who should have protected her . First was her teacher , then her sister’ s husband. It was learnt that Basirat had been put in the care of her sister who lived in the Ajah area of Lagos State , after her parents died in 2014 when she was barely 15 . She was enrolled in a private school in Ikota, where a teacher , Folorunsho Joseph , 34 , allegedly drugged and deflowered her . Her sister’ s husband, 37 - year -old Mukaila Bello , allegedly took advantage of the incident and defiled her repeatedly until she became pregnant . Bello , an indigene of Kwara State, has four children and works with a charity organisation on Victoria Island , Lagos State. Vice President , Prof Yemi Osinbanjo, announced this during the burial service of the former late , Dr Alex Ekwueme at St John, The Divine Church , Oko , Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra State.
