Think About It
"As I would not be a slave, so I would not be a master. This expresses my idea of democracy." _Abraham.Lincoln_
Almost 'everybody', do make this simple mistake of, becoming a leader before one can make impact in the society or any organization 'he' finds 'himself', Before I continue I've attended two lectures delivered by two notables politicians in this past few months and hear them saying the following word, "You don't have to be elected before you can make a positive change in your Socio-Political environment". Though this words came from ambitious and position inclined politicians but still yet its a take home word for we all to benefit from it.
A friend of my once had a discussion with me, that he has intention of aspiring for a political seat in his department, I just told him to *follow his mind* on anything he was doing, the period of election came, he already started with his campaigns, awareness and all other political activities, fortunately, for him before he could purchase the electoral form for the office he was contesting for, he had a *re-think*, that why not even support whosoever emerged as the officer (So he never contested again) and when the electioneering process took place,an officer emerged and that friend of mine, took it has his *core duty* to assist the officers, all his intended programme were then put in place and the office generally is doing fine.
*What are we to learn fconcerned*
♻ Politics should never be a do or die affair
♻ Always follow you mind
♻ Never have a shallow thinking, always think globally
♻ Always support an incumbent Officer irrespective of your stand or who you support.
♻ Never for one push every responsibility to the leaders and leaders only
♻ Your take on matters goes a long way
♻ If you have programs that can make your society a better place, make it known to the appropriate quarters.
