A Flicker In Silence

              
        When searching for solutions
     Intellect can be as great as obstacle
             As our emotional being
If it prefers to construct its own truth
       And regards it as an absolute
      A flicker that is experienced
           In silence of mind holds
       The hints and impressions
      For a problem even though
   Solution is still at large in mind.

THE UNIQUENESS OF ALL HALL OF RESIDENCE IN OAU

Greatest Ife!!! Greatest gbagba!!! Greatest gbogbo!!! Greatest shiiiii!!!  Apart from the fact that we all know that Obafemi Awolowo University is located in Nigeria in the southwest region, specifically in Ile Ife in Osun state. I will say ironically that OAU is another country on her own, another state on her own because their way and pattern of life is totally different. When talking about the most beautiful campus in Nigeria, in Africa it is known that OAU is known as the most beautiful. The Architect that designed the great OAU campus is an Israeli, when we take a Critical look at the word ‘’Great Ife’’ and the school structure we would surely know that the name is not by any mistake created because all the buildings are not ground level, there is nowhere in OAU that you will want to go to that you will not climb a staircase. The Federal Government has advised Nigerians who drink borehole water to test the quality regularly to reduce its negative impact.

Bore hole water Mrs Elizabeth Ugoh, the Deputy Director, Water Quality Control and Sanitation, Federal Ministry of Water Resources, stated this in Abuja on Thursday. She said the ministry was working with the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON), to enforce the National Standard for Drinking Water Quality toward ensuring the quality of water being supplied to the public. “The ministry is calling on all Nigerians drinking water from borehole and other sources to regularly test their water in laboratories across the country to reduce consuming unwholesome water. “We are also calling on borehole drillers to abide by the National Drilling Code of Practice”, she added. According to her, six new laboratories are being constructed in the six geo-political zones by the Federal Government to improve water quality and standard in the country.
