COSA TO WITNESS A VIBRANT ADMINISTRATION
COSA an association which is like a group meant to head all media activities on campus.
The handing over ceremony of the communication students association (COSA) was held on January 13, 2017 at the new LASUSOC building, Lagos State University, Ojo.
The ceremony was graced by the Independent electoral committee chairman of COSA, Mr. Olumide Omobitan, outgoing president of COSA, Mr. Falade Michael, Four time COSA honourable, Mr. Oyetunji David, outgoing speaker of COSA Representative Council, Mr. Daramola Fadlulahi, incoming COSA Executives and other notable students of mass communication.
The ceremony was declared opened by the IEC chairman, Olumide with the audience reciting anthem of the Union. In the opening speech of the IEC chairman, he urged all executives and honourables to move the association to the next phase. He expressed his belief that the association, in no time will be competiting with top associations on campus.
The newly inaugurated president of COSA, Comrade Ogunsola Oluwatosin also delivered his speech at the ceremony. Comrade Oluwatosin highlighted his plans and visions he has to move COSA to the next level. Some of his plans includes; impacting more knowledge to the students practically, creating a more social environment for students, exposing Communication Students to the outside world through facility visits amongst others .
The IEC Chairman, Olumide and the outgoing COSA SRC Speaker, Daramola issued certificate of office to all executives of COSA. All executives of the association also recited the oath of office organised by Daramola Fadlulahi. The ceremony was declared closed by the IEC chairman with all audience reciting the Union anthem.
