Martial serves notice of his enduring class Anthony Martial endured a difficult second season at United, managing just eight goals, having plundered 17 in his debut campaign following his £36million move from Monaco. Jose Mourinho called him out publicly on a couple of occasions over a perceived lack of focus throughout the season. But here, the France forward was unplayable, dancing past two players with an outstanding piece of individual skill, before squaring for Jesse Lingard to score from close-range. Lingard continues impressive tour form Jesse Lingard is player who divides opinion, many feeling the brash young winger is not worthy of pulling on the United shirt. That flak intensified when he signed a new deal with United worth £100,000-a-week, but here, as he has done throughout United's US tour, Lingard impressed, going close to scoring a couple of times, before slotting in the opener following good work from Anthony Martial. Mourinho has put his faith in Lingard, w

Could This Be The Worst WAEC Result So Far?

Image
° The West African Examination Council, WAEC, has released its May/June 2017 secondary school certificate examination results. Pictured below might just be the worst WAEC Result of 2017 ever! Out of the 1,559,162 candidates that sat for for the 2017 WAEC this result may be the worst so far. According to reports, 923,486 candidates secured at least five credits which include English Language and Mathematics. Let’s calculate that, that’s a tremendous increase of 59.23%, when rounded off and compared to the last year’s 52.9% and the previous year of 38.7% who passed. I think it’s safe to say that over time there will be an even greater percentage increase in the number of students who will pass. As this result came to our attention we come to think of the reason a student who has been studying hard for this phenomenal examination will still manage to gain such a deteriorating result.
