Could This Be The Worst WAEC Result So Far?

°The West African Examination Council, WAEC, has released its May/June 2017 secondary school certificate examination results. Pictured below might just be the worst WAEC Result of 2017 ever!

Out of the 1,559,162 candidates that sat for for the 2017 WAEC this result may be the worst so far.

According to reports, 923,486 candidates secured at least five credits which include English Language and Mathematics.
Let’s calculate that, that’s a tremendous increase of 59.23%, when rounded off and compared to the last year’s 52.9% and the previous year of 38.7% who passed.

I think it’s safe to say that over time there will be an even greater percentage increase in the number of students who will pass.

As this result came to our attention we come to think of the reason a student who has been studying hard for this phenomenal examination will still manage to gain such a deteriorating result.
