WHERE IS BUHARI;THE CABALS AND THE ACTING PRESIDENT;OUR EDUCATION SECTOR;THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY;THREATENING SECURITY THREATS.

Yes.…….Nigerians are concerned
with President Buhari who has been on a medical vacation abroad(west London UK) for the past two months with the presidential aircraft comfortably placed there and gulping millions of government fund for maintenance and parking and his aides fooling around with the exact time the president will be back from his medical trip abroad. NIGERIANS WANT TO KNOW THE STATE OF THEIR PRESIDENT AND WHEN HE WILL BE BACK TO THE COUNTRY!

The vice president who is now the substantive acting president has not been consistent in public view as of late with “reports of cabals from within allegedly refraining him from taking some actions he should have taken which would have benefited the whole Nigeria populace!

Even though I will like to commend the acting president for releasing the second tranche days ago to states to offset the backlog of salaries this states are owing their workers and pensioners even while investigation is still ongoing on how some of these states government have appropriated and misappropriated the funds,I will still like him to get rid of the hungry looking voracious cabals who have nothing good to offer Nigerians than to make sure every policy the government makes is in their favour with little or no regards for the masses whose votes they unassumingly forgot they are coming to beg for during the elections.

Going by the words of Benjamin Franklin”an investment in knowledge pays the best interest”, but our leaders seem to have forgotten this,as they pay little or no attention to the education sector, and the sector being one of the most under funded sectors in the country. One will have have to wonder why a sector which has produced virtually all our leaders is given such little attention and being treated as if it were non existent.

Schools are now being closed down like factory gates even with a little and peaceful non violent protest from the students and unions being proscribed as if it were an illegal organization.

I keep wondering if the national assembly we presently have in Nigeria is not just a gathering of people who come together not to advocate for the masses but for their own pockets which is becoming more fatter each day as they support the bills which are inclined in their own favour and disregard those that are opposed to them directly or indirectly of which the latest and fully glaring one is that of the proposed “looters amnesty bill” which will allow looters of public funds return about 70percent of the stolen funds which also allows them have full amnesty from prosecution.

The appalling bill therefore automatically allows the beginning of “official and undefined corruption” because anyone can just loot trillions of Naira and when he/she is being investigated,he returns seventy percent of the looted funds and he/she is told to “go and sin no more” and Nigeria automatically becomes an accessible charity company where everyone who goes there laughs out as their pockets have been loaded with treasuries.

National assembly lawmakers should scrutinize their bills before bringing it to the level of the house in such ways that bills to be brought to the house should be one that will favour the general interest of Nigerians not that of some group of persons.

Even as the security measures put in place by the federal government is laudable and applausible ,it is however disheartening that despite this, there are still some threatening security threats such as kidnapping, armed robbery, and cultism are still on the rise in a country with over eight government security agencies at its keep and the government keeping mum on this menace which has caused the untimely death of many, and also left many in Absolute or partial psychological an physical trauma.
The federal government through its security agencies should step up security measures around the country just before the people it is supposedly ruling over get wiped out by this men of the underworld and when caught should be given severe punishment to serve as detriment to others who might still be lurking in the shadows.
