Violence as students vandalise properties over missing colleagues
Prior to the disappearance of Shonibare, three other students had been declared missing in UNIOSUN in recent times.
Following the discovery of the corpse of their colleague who was declared missing recently, the students of Osun State University have resorted to violent protests to register their worries.
The students are reportedly taking over the state capital of Osun state, vandalising properties and besieging the city to protest the increasing spate of students' disappearance in the University.
Oluwafemi Shonibare, a 400L student of Microbiology was the latest student to be declared missing on Monday, July 26.
While Shonibare's friends were searching for him, a female student of the University, identified as Ayomide told newsmen that the students would embark on protests against cases of missing students in the university.
However, a week after his disappearance, the decomposing corpse of Oluwafemi was discovered on Tuesday, July 4, near the house of a Muslim cleric in Oshogbo.

In a period of nine months, Samuel Eke and Robert Akinduro and Rofiat Adebisi all in their final year were declared missing. Adebisi was later found dead in Iragbiji.
