President meets with CAN leaders in Aso Rock


The CAN president, Rev. Samson Ayokunle, led the delegation to the Villa on Friday morning.
President Muhammadu Buhari met with the leaders of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) at the Presidential Villa on Friday, November 10, 2017.
The association's president, Rev. Samson Ayokunle , led the delegation to the Villa to discuss with the president in a private meeting.
Christian leaders in the delegation include Primate Nicholas Okoh , Rev. Dr Benebo Fubara Manuel , Bishop Francis Wale Oke and Bishop Stephen Adegbite.
Other officials in attendance are Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, National Security Adviser, Maj. Gen. Babagana Monguno and Head of Service of the Federation, Mrs Winifred Oyo-Ita.
Cabinet members were also present while recently-appointed Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF)
Boss Mustapha, was represented by Permanent Secretary, Ecological Fund Office (EFO), Hajiya Habiba Lawal.
The President will also meet with representatives of the country's Muslim community later.
