Chelsea duo of N’Golo Kante and Eden Hazard have been nominated in the last six of the PFA Player of the Year awards.

The list which also have the likes of Alexis Sanchez, HarryKane, Romelu Lukaku and Zlatan Ibrahimovic in its final six is organised by the Professional Footballers association.N’Golo Kante who made the list last season, has been a vital figure for Chelsea in current season following his switch from Leicester City where he helped them to a historic Premier League.His Blues teammate, Eden Hazard have also been in blistering form under Antonio Conte this season, finding his form back after a dismal outing with the team last season.Alexis Sanchez has provided firepower for the Gunners so far this season, and is arguably the best player at Arsenal presently due to hiswork-rate and tenacity.English striker Harry Kane has been a late bloomer for Tottenham Hotspur this season, scoring decisive goals to help them to a rather comfortable position in the Premier League.Everton forward Romelu Lukaku is leading the goalscorers chart in the Premier League with his impressive form for the Toffees this year.Zlatan Ibrahimovic will hope to continue his conquest of the PremierLeague by winning the PFA player of the year award, with his electric formfor Manchester United so far in the current campaign.

THE Students’Union of the Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University (IBBUL), Lapai, Niger State has suspended its Financial Secretary indefinitely

Comrade Yahaya Umar Faruk (Aluta mayo) was suspended for alleged misappropriation of funds and misconduct. The Students’ Representative Assembly (SRA) Speaker, Abdurahman Sadiq, made this known through the Clerk, Usman Isah Ndanusa. The allegations against the financial secretary were presentation of incomplete receipts, contrary to what was approved by the legislative house, missing of seven booklets of receipts, and unconstitutional behaviours during the proceedings. SU President Comrade Ayuba Muye confirmed Faruk’s suspension. A member of the SU, who pleaded anonymity, said the cat was let out of the bag when four of the five members who comprised SRA’s financial and budget committee discovered the ‘fraud’. The committee, thereafter, announced the suspension, the source added.
