Jide Kosoko, Mercy Johnson, Uche Jombo, Francis Odega star in new comedy movie, Kondo Game



Kondo Game, an intriguing comedy movie, featuring Nollywood A-listers, such as  Jide Kosoko, Mercy Johnson, Uche Jombo  Rodriguez,  Francis Odega,  Mercy Aigbe, Cossy Ojiakor and Funny Bone, is set to take cinema lovers by storm. The comic adventure movie depicts life in the police barracks, with the mischief of two notorious police officers, Austin and Vincent, putting viewers on an unending laughter swing.  Played by Francis Odega and Funnybone, the two police officers would later be faced with controversial tasks. With a sloppy boss, Jide Kosoko to contend with, Austin and Vincent are locked in between crime busting and bursting a romantic fling with a voluptuous mistress, played by Cossy Ojiakor, who runs a beer parlour in the neighbourhood. Cossy’s exploit heightens the rib-cracking comic adventure. Maryam Harris, the producer of the movie, said the need to create a film at par with Hollywood necessitated the huge investment and quality cast put into the production.

Bore hole water Mrs Elizabeth Ugoh, the Deputy Director, Water Quality Control and Sanitation, Federal Ministry of Water Resources, stated this in Abuja on Thursday. Former Arsenal Player Jailed For Selling Heroin And Cocaine

Compiled by Ayomide °An ex-Arsenal youth player, Christian Toonga, has been reportedly jailed for two and a half years for selling heroin and cocaine for a gang of dealers. The 19 year old midfielder was forced to work for the Custom House gang when he was arrested at a property in Sherborne, Wiltshire, last year. reports made us to undersand that, he helped the gang to move into the home of a woman who felt powerless to resist them. The police raided the property and he was found with three wraps of cocaine, 29 wraps of heroin, £700 and mobile phones with text messages. Toonga admitted to possessing with intent to supply class A drugs on 7 February, and he was also charged with failing to surrender to police after he was bailed.

INEC refutes negative insinuations on suspension of senator’s recall process

° Acting Chairman said relating INEC’s decision to the Senate’s intention to probe TETFUND was false and misleading. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has refuted negative insinuations trailing its decision to suspend the recall process of Sen. Dino Melaye, representing Kogi West, in compliance with a court order. Prof. Okechukwu Ibeanu, National Commissioner and acting Chairman of INEC said in a statement he issued on Saturday in Abuja that the attention of the commission had been drawn to some media reports about its decision to obey the court order. He said some of the reports were claiming that INEC was being blackmailed into abandoning the process as a result of the decision of Senate to probe the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TEFUND).
