The APC National Chairman also urged Nigerians to continue to support the bold efforts of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led APC administration in retooling the economy based on a broad spectrum of initiatives. These he hoped would create employment and sundry opportunities that will ultimately lead the country to the path of economic recovery and growth.
He also called on Nigerians to support the administration’s drive to instill a new ethic of morality in our national life.
In the statement, the APC National Chairman also commiserated with Nigerians who have lost loved ones to recent accidents and activities of insurgents.
“As we celebrate the birth of the Holy Prophet Mohammed (SAW), we also commiserate with our brothers and sisters across Nigeria who have suffered misfortunes of losing loved ones to recent accidents and activities of insurgents, particularly Saturday’s church building collapse in Akwa Ibom state and bomb explosions in Adamawa and Borno States which occurred on Friday and Sunday respectively. I wish the injured quick and full recovery,” the APC National Chairman said.
He enjoined citizens particularly in the North East to remain vigilant and security conscious as the insurgents are now limited to attacks on soft targets due to the successes recorded by the administration in the war against terror.
